| Description: | A General Maintenance Person is responsible for building systems operations, preventative maintenance and repair as directed by the Maintenance Manager at the Saskatoon Travelodge Hotel. |
| Requirements: | • Assist in maintaining building equipment and systems in accordance with established preventative/predictive maintenance programs/schedules
• Ability to perform general maintenance functions throughout the hotel with minimal supervision
• Assist in ensuring an adequate working environment in terms of lighting, temperature, humidity, ventilation, air quality and general cleanliness
• Assist in ensuring that plumbing, HVAC and mechanical systems supporting critical systems operate within specified equipment tolerances

• Respond to emergency situations involving mechanical and plumbing system failures and take appropriate corrective action to expedite recovery
• Ability to diagnose malfunctions and repair unsafe equipment
• Exceptional organizational and analytical abilities
• Ensure that work sites are cleaned up after work has been completed
• Utilize materials and tools in accordance with inventory control procedures
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
• Proven ability to work on their own and as a part of the team
• Ability to deal with all levels of management in a professional manner
• Ability to be positive and calm under pressure
• This position involves a rotating shift schedule, with day and night shifts
